Owie- kingers OK?

Went out and bought some of these yesterday, but Nolan liked it so much he wouln't allow me to put it on his wound, he had to hold it and discuss it instead

So, first significant (ie- bleeding rather than just bruising) owie yesterday- as I was washing my face, Nolan got into Mike's shaving kit which oddly and mistakenly had an uncovered razor cartridge exposed, result in a profusely bleeding thumb tip with a bit of hangy off skin. He was surprised and unnerved by the blood and ran into his room and collapsed on the floor by his crib, and didn't want me to hold a cloth on his hand. Managed to wash it off and calm down eventually, only to find that his blood phobia is near matched by his dislike of band-aids.

We discussed that sometimes owies can have red come out of them but it's OK, and bandaids will help make them better, and he inquired if his kinger (finger) was OK? And I said yes it was Ok....... later, when he saw Mike, he was sitting with me cuddling on the couch with his bandaged thumb in hitchhiker upright position, and proferred it to Mike, saying "Kinger owie....it's OK."

Another first. Luckily, no stitches required.
