Puppets, boots and trucks

Golfing in the park
So, Nolans little brain is connecting synapses like mad, and he is GETTING UP at night to count, name body parts, and talk, and name pictures in his favorite picture book....he always looks at the ... Bike! Line-y (Lion)! and CAAAAKKKEE!- a nice picture of chocolate cake. This is not good for me, or Mike, but Nolan then sleeps in a bit and naps a bit and does OK. Last night I refused to let him get up and play and left the light off, and it was bad - a "have to hold him down" tantrum. But, can't be thinking it's OK to just get up and play at 0200H, sweetiebub. Although, I swear, sometimes his head feels HOT from all of the brain activity.

While watching Blue's Clues today he starting making a hand puppet and saying "Hello!" with it, the way Steve wanted him to, and was VERY interactive with the show- shouting out answers, and so on- it was very cute to watch. He is so obsessed, and loves "Tick!!!"- Tickety Tock, the clock- the absolute most. Tried Dora- ehhh. Baby Einstein is now passe. Blue, Steve and Joe are the bomb for Nolan, my loyal little guy.

He looks at pictures of crayons and says "drawin!"- and then "sookle???"- ie I want to draw a circle. He is pretty good at them too, and likes ... Wed! Gween! and LLLow! the best of all the colours.

He is overtired because I couldn't get him to bed right away (on call) and he was just getting all hyped up just now running around in his rubber boots and PJs- a pretty cute look, but he is a fat footed hot footed little guy, so that can't be too comfy....

Will post a pic and turn in soon- I gave a talk at a community hospital this morning and had to get up extra early, after a very Nolan active night, so am braindead.

my favorite outfit is my pj's and my rubber boots. i'm sure nolan looks much cuter than me in it and would get less strange looks at the grocery store.
he is so clever, i can't wait to play with them!
